This LA summer has been a funny one. Typically we get gorgeous breezes and cool nights, but the past couple of weeks have been scorchers. This means breaking out my summer whites and breezy tops. The majority of this outfit is not sustainable and was purchased before my revelation, however, you can bet I’ll get 30+ wears where possible! The white jeans are thin and stretchy – making them a great choice for a little coverage during a hot day. They are by a brand called DSTLD (Distilled without the vowels – get it?) and are made & sourced in Los Angeles. The quality is so-so, making me extra keen to give Everlane’s new denim (launching in 2 days!) a try ASAP.
My favourite pair of sunglasses are these vintage Ray Ban sunglasses that I definitely didn’t steal from my mum… definitely not. What I love about these is that they are real glass (read: heavy on the face) making them feel extra vintage (I’m almost positive these are about 30 years old). I typically have to wear croakies in order to keep them on my face! Of course, I also gravitate towards my old Dooney & Bourke bag as I’m too in love with the colour of that brown leather. It goes with almost everything in my wardrobe.
Hanging onto summer as long as possible, but still keen for all the layering to come in autumn!
